Reactions have continued to roll in after the Brooklyn Nets confirmed that Kevin Durant was among the four players on the team who tested positive for the coronavirus.
More celebrities have continued to come forward and share their test results after Hollywood A-Lister Idris Elba shockingly revealed that he had contracted the virus earlier this week. Following KD’s diagnosis, TMZ asked Nelly for his thoughts on the matter. Nelly had nothing but words of support for the NBA superstar and wished him a speedy recovery.
He went on to say that KD’s situation is a lesson for the rest of the world that “nobody’s exempt” from contracting the coronavirus. The message arrives as an apt reminder, considering Drake’s fans are concerned that he might’ve been exposed to COVID-19 after recently hanging out with KD in Los Angeles.
“We're all the same right now. Nobody's bigger than the other right one. I think we're all one at the same time right now,” he told TMZ.
The paparazzo then brought up that one of Nelly’s upcoming shows was canceled due to the ongoing pandemic and inquired how the music industry will be impacted.
"It's affecting the world, man, not just the music industry,” Nelly responded. “And, anybody who feels like this is personal, basically got they head in the sand."
