After weeks of rumors and teasing, Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine revealed they are teaming up again for a new single, “Trollz.” Both rappers took to their social media to deliver the announcement.
Via Twitter, Minaj shared that a portion of the proceeds from “Trollz” and accompanying merch will go towards The Bail Project, a nonprofit organization that offers free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail.
Along with the announcement, the “Chun Li” rapstress shared a pair of technicolor photos from the set of the single’s forthcoming music video that drops at midnight on Friday, June 12.
Tekashi promised his fans via Instagram that the visual is going to “break the Internet.”
“Trollz” will be Tekashi and Nicki’s first song together since 2018’s “FEFE,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Tekashi previously released his first post-prison single, “GOOBA” in early May.
In addition, Akon revealed that he’s currently cooking up a sequel to his 2003 smash hit, “Locked Up,” with Tekashi.
