2 Chainz could drop a mean verse, but did you know the rapper could throw down in the kitchen, too? Well now we can enjoy his two talents as 2 Chainz has released a digital cookbook titled #MealTime to coincide with his new album, #B.O.A.T.S. II: #METIME.
The cookbook features 14 delicious dishes like garlic mashed potatoes, herb-crusted lamb rib chops, teriyaki salmon, pan-seared sea bass, and shrimp scampi with hilarious recipe instructions.
"Call Fergie, invite her to watch a movie on Netflix. Once she accepts, start making green beans," he writes for one dish.
He also advises wannabe chefs to dress the part (in "chains n thangs"), but to beware of splattering oil onto your Adidas sweat suit.
"If wearing a four-finger ring, carefully place it on a side table before starting to cook," he adds.
"Keep in mind, all measurements are at the discretion of your palette," 2 Chainz writes about seasoning. "As we all know, some people have a lot of flavor, while others enjoy their food and their lifestyle a little more subtle (boring.)"
All the recipes are also sound tracked by a song off his album, so you can twerk to "Where U Been?" while you work your magic on some lamb racks. For his "Me Time" dipping sauce, which consists of mayo, Dijon mustard, barbecue sauce, lemon juice and Old Bay seasoning, 2 Chainz suggests going "to the mall, spend a handful of racks on a new outfit for the night," get a manicure, pedicure, and catch up on old seasons of The Wire.
So this isn't just a cookbook the opulent rapper is offering, but recipes for a whole new way of living.
