Willow Smith Debuts "Fireball" on 106 & Park

Willow Smith loved working with the "crazy" Nicki Minaj on her new video.

Pop star Willow Smith stopped by BET's 106 & Park to hang out with the Livest Audience on television. The topic of discussion was her new video for “Fireball,” the Nicki Minaj collabo that serves as the new single off Smith’s upcoming album, Willow: You Think You Know Me.

Smith explained to the crowd what a fireball is.

“A fireball is a girl who is not afraid to be herself and do what she wants to do and be out there."

As for working with fellow fireball Nicki Minaj, Smith said the Young Money star was a joy to work with.

“She’s awesome, she’s a great artist, she’s so peppy and she’s just a crazy girl,” Smith said of Minaj. “All we did was really vibe off each other — be fireballs and be explosive, and do what we do best.”

Later, Smith was up way past her bedtime charming the crowd on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
Smith chatted excitedly about working with Nicki again. “She’s amazing, she’s an awesome artist, she’s crazy, she’s wild. She’s just really exciting to be around,” the pint-sized Will Smith lookalike said. When asked how they created the concept — which involves the duo taking over a block — she said, “We just got there and just vibed out!”
Smith’s first album, Willow: You Think You Know Me, is due April 3.
