Tyler, the Creator Arrested for Vandalism

LAPD reportedly booked the Odd Future front man for trashing a Hollywood nightclub.

If you’ve ever been to an Odd Future show, you know things can go north of rowdy very quickly. Apparently things got too out of control when OF front man Tyler, the Creator took the stage last night at Hollywood’s renowned nightclub Roxy.

According to TMZ, police were called to the hotspot on Sunset Blvd at around 11:30 PM PST after Tyler allegedly trashed some equipment during his performance. The 20-year old rapper was taken into custody by police and booked on suspicion of vandalism.

The report said Tyler’s mother was present at the time of his arrest and was so upset she was seen yelling at the arresting officers.

A police presence at an Odd Future show is not an uncommon affair as the West Coast shock rap collective has had several shows shut down this year due to unruly fans. But members of the group have also found themselves in legal trouble during performances. In November group member Left Brain was accused of assaulting a photographer at a show in New Orleans.

And Tyler also had a run in with the Los Angeles police earlier this year where he was detained outside of a high school while promoting his album Goblin.
