Kanye West's upcoming album is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated of the year. After his surprise contribution to Yeezy's single "Only One" featuring Paul McCartney, Ty Dolla $ign talks to Billboard about being invited to Mexico to record with West — an accomplishment he says is like "running track and getting a gold medal. Constant gold medals!"
According to Ty Dolla, Kanye's cousin asked him to come to Mexico. He flew south for two days in between tour dates, and says it was a productive forty-eight hours: "I came out there [and] we did like nine songs in one day; one of them happened to be 'Only One'."
"It was like 24 hours, seven songs or nine songs that day. I was like, 'I'm here with Kanye, I'm not gonna waste my time,'" said Ty Dolla. The rapper also revealed some juicy details about a song featuring himself, Kanye, Paul McCartney, and Rihanna that'll be on Kanye's next album. "It's gonna drop soon. I heard they shot the video recently. I don't know what the final title is, but I know it's crazy so just be looking out for [it]," he said.
We can hardly wait to see what they come up with.
