Suge Knight and his legal team are making some pretty serious accusations.
According to court documents (obtained by TMZ) filed by his lawyer, Thaddeus Culpepper, Knight alleges that the 2014 club shooting during which he fielded seven shots was orchestrated by Dr. Dre and facilitated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The freshly filed docs claim that Sheriff’s Deputy Henry Boyd was working at 1OAK Nightclub that night when he allowed the suspected gunman to enter. They also allege there’s surveillance video of this and the Deputy allowing him flee the country at LAX as well. They even assert that Boyd’s resignation from the department was in connection to his subsequent questioning by authorities.
Finally, the documents claim that the shooter confessed to the police that Dre paid him and a friend $50,000 to take out the hit, and the Sheriff’s department let him go for no good reason. Dr. Dre or any spokesmen for him have yet to comment on these latest developments in the case.
The last time we heard from Suge Knight was in February when he was put in solitary confinement for an indefinite period of time – to which he protested. He also claimed that he was going blind during his hearings and even suffering a brain tumor.
