As we’re waiting for “Cash Me Ousside” girl Danielle Bregoli’s 15 minutes of fame to be up, things are presenting themselves that may make it harder for her to go away.
Earlier, we presented a story about how her infamous phrase was remixed into a song and is now charting at No. 88 on the Billboard Hot 100. Now, we’re learning that Bregoli is really trying to monetize off her “celebrity” by charging potential organizers thousands of dollars for a meet and greet with the human Internet meme.
According to TMZ, Bregoli’s demanding a big payday for her presence to sign autographs and meet fans. She’s reportedly making more than $40,000 to do a meet and greet in May at the Rolling Loud Music Festival. The owner of the company throwing the festival says they’ll be throwing Danielle’s 14th birthday bash in March and she’ll make money off that as well.
Bregoli’s reps reportedly say she’s charging $30,000 minimum for appearances in the U.S. and $40,000 if she has to leave American soil. Supposedly an NYC bar offered her $5,000 to do an event and she laughed while passing on the bid.
Wow. Just wow.
Twitter gave their reaction to the figures and uh, reacted pretty much how you think they would. See their responses below.
