Big Baller Brand Reportedly Got $13.2 Million In Free Advertising From The LaVar Ball-Trump Feud

LaVar is probably laughing over the president's Twitter fingers now.

LaVar Ball can laugh his way to the bank over his well-publicized feud with President Trump.

ESPN cited the Apex Marketing Group in reporting that the Ball family's Big Baller Brand has received an estimated $13.2 million in free advertising since Trump and LaVar Ball began arguing publicly on November 17.

"This back and forth with Donald Trump has extended the brand awareness outside of just sports," Apex Marketing Group president Eric Smallwood told Yahoo Sports. "People who don't follow sports are starting to get more awareness of the brand. To have that reaction from someone as high up as Trump, it has definitely helped [Ball] reach a larger audience."

The words between Trump and Ball sparked when Trump called the outspoken basketball dad "ungrateful" for not saying thank you over the president's assist in getting LaVar's son, UCLA guard LiAngelo Ball, and his two Bruins teammates back to Los Angeles after their shoplifting arrest in China.

LaVar unwilling to say thanks, prompted the president to tweet, "I should have left them in jail," on Sunday.

LaVar responded the next day by going on CNN and asking the Celebrity-in-Chief: "Why is that on your mind? All this stuff going on and that's on your mind — that a father didn't say thank you?"

Unable to control his petty Twitter fingers, Trump responded Wednesday morning, calling LaVar an "ungrateful fool" and a "poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair."

Shaking our heads.

Well, after the Big Baller Brand received $13.2 million worth of free advertising, we'd like to know, who's the fool now, Donald?
