Matt Barnes and his girlfriend, Anansa Sims, were all smiles after welcoming their newborn baby boy, Ashton Joseph Barnes. 

Sims, the daughter of supermodel Beverly Johnson, shared heartwarming photos of the new family just moments after baby Ashton was delivered. 

"I couldn’t have done it without you my Love ❤️ You talked me through every push...held my hand...and said exactly what I needed to hear to get our little man here," she commented on a photo posted to her IG.

Barnes also shared a photo of baby "AJ," who was born at a healthy 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and 22.5 inches long. 

Baby AJ is the first child for Sims and Barnes since the retired Golden State Warriors player split from ex-wife and Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan. 

Barnes and Govan have twin boys named Carter and Isiah. Recently, Barnes requested a judge lower his child support payment from $20,000 to $2,798 per child, per month.
