Hate on Khloe Kardashian all you want, but you can't deny this: the girl's glam is on point. That highlight! Those eyelashes! The multitude of hairstyles! When it comes to the latter, we've got the scoop on why her hair is always poppin'. Issa weave. That's why her hair's so big, it's full of secrets!

Forgive us, for we know this is not groundbreaking news. The Kardashians are known to change their hair in dramatic ways on short notice. Kim's Cher lengths? Obviously weave. Kylie's kaleidoscope colors? Wigs, duh. Koko, too, can go from shag-length to greater lengths at the drop of a hat.

Something you probably didn't know, however, is that Khloe's been about the weave life. For 15 years, to be exact. Yep, Khlo-Money's been sporting a sew-in since age 17. 

She admitted to it in a blog post on her website, Khloe With A K. "After my dad died and I lost the majority of my hair, Maisha [Oliver] made me these great weaves to conserve the hair I still had and help it get healthy again," she wrote. "My natural long hair is protected underneath it all."

Khloe's father, Robert Kardashian, passed when she was a teen. Ostensibly, the grief and associated emotions caused a physical manifestation, which is not uncommon in cases of emotional shock or trauma. 

"She would actually come with them when they would get their extensions done, and she was like, 'Can I get that done to my hair?' So we did it, and she loooved it! When you're young, you kinda want to experiment a lot, so it was a good way for her to allow her hair to rest underneath and grow but still try out new styles," Maisha said of how Khloe first started getting into weave.

Khloe still works with Maisha today. In fact, she's responsible for Koko's bob, pictured above. The story behind the lewk is as follows. "She wanted to achieve a shorter haircut without actually cutting her hair, since she wants to keep growing it out," Maisha said. "She really likes her hair in a short bob. So basically, I just sectioned and left out the first few layers of hair on top and around the face, braided everything else underneath and sewed the extensions on. The hair I left out just covers the weft, so that you don't see the extensions."
