Despite Putting Up Numbers and Endorsement Deals Ice Cube Explains Why Angel Reese Won’t Get the Same $5 Million Big3 Offer as Caitlin Clark

Averaging 13.8 points and 12.5 rebounds, and 44.8 percent shooting, there is evidence of her prowess on the court and her marketability. 

Ice Cube, founder of BIG3, a 3-on-3, half-court basketball league, offered Caitlin Clark $5 million to play in his league, he has explained why he won't be making that same offer to Angel Reese.

According to TMZ Sports, the $5 million offered to Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was backed by "assurances from corporate sponsors" who were convinced that  her presence would have a major impact on the Big3 league. As per, Ice Cube that  level of support doesn't exist for Reese, reports Complex.

"I don't think we can make that same offer because it won't have the same impact to the league," said Ice Cube.

According to Complex, Reese has been putting up numbers on the court, the second-year forward is a WNBA standout in her 22 games playing for the Sky. Averaging 13.8 points and 12.5 rebounds, and with 44.8 percent shooting, the evidence of her prowess on the court and her marketability is clear.

Reese also competed in the first season of Unrivaled, the three-on-three league co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. Earning a bonus of $50,000 on top of her standard contract, Reese was a member of the new league’s championship team, Rose BC.

All around it seems Reese is winning nonetheless.
