Watch As Serena Williams Takes On The Spartan Obstacle Course Only 5 Months After Giving Birth
Ready, set...goals!
Serena Williams is back on her winning streak and this time she's bringing her hubby, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian Sr., to the winner's circle.
Recently, the newlyweds competed in a Spartan race, only five months after welcoming their first child, baby girl Alexis Olympia, and she totally killed the obstacle course!
"Competed in a Spartan race this weekend with SOME of my @kryptonian teammates," the professional athlete shared in her Instagram caption. "This first video was a 5 and a half foot jump half way through I knew there was no chance to get my legs over so I remembered my gymnastics classes from my youth!"
See for yourself how Serena bested the gymnastics rings, a pool of mud and much more:
Looks like our favorite is back on her feet after experiencing serious health scares while giving birth to her daughter via emergency C-section due to Baby Alexis' dangerously low heart rate and shortly after, dealing with pulmonary embolism (which is caused by blood clots) and even experiencing her C-section wound reopening due to a coughing spell.
Honestly we're happy to see the 36-year-old back on her feet, and back to kicking a** in sports!
Is there anything Serena can't do? We're just saying...
