Look: Obama’s Approval Rating Hits Highest Number in Seven Years

Meanwhile these are Donald Trump's numbers.

On Wednesday, a CNN/ORC-released poll revealed President Barack Obama has the highest approval rating that he’s had seven years, reported Politico.

After the election, Obama hit an approval rating of 57 percent, his highest rating since his September 2009 rating of 58 percent.

Additionally, president Obama’s favorability rating lies close to 60 percent, his highest since October 2009. Obama’s 59 percent favorability rating tops Americans’ views of the both the Democratic (39 percent) and Republican (41 percent) parties.

  • Many can't believe we elected Trump with Obama's high numbers

  • And Obama's numbers are far higher than Trump's

As for President-elect Donald Trump, the polled Americans are still unsure about his ability to succeed as a president. Only 46 percent of respondents believe he cares about people like them.

Although he won the presidency, 66 percent don’t see Donald Trump as an admirable person and 54 percent think he will only further divide the country instead of unite it.

  • It will certainly be hard for Trump and Pence to top Obama and Biden

  • Let's face it, we are all going to miss Obama and Biden (and their memes)
