Instead, it is a way to make you aware of the many ways you’ll have to pivot your mindset to create a lucrative brand from the ground up. 

In honor of Women's History Month, we sat down with several millionaires in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries to chat about their successful businesses and hopefully gain some business gems that can help you build your own successful empire.

    For those looking to build their own successful business, PreMadonna offers the following advice: “You have to be willing to put in the work. A lot of times people see a lifestyle they want and they just want it to drop in their laps without trying to do the work and that’s not how life goes.”

    The owner of PreMadonna Cookware and Seasonings adds, "Be passionate. If you don’t love what you do, stop. If you don’t have passion, you'll be miserable and you’ll never get to the wealth and the level you're trying to get to.”

  2. B. Simone- (Founder Of Several Businesses Including B. Simone Beauty)

    For those with hesitations about starting their business, B. Simone reveals: “You're not always going to have all your ducks in a row at the beginning, just start. Start and you'll learn as you go. Nobody's gonna turn into a huge massive entrepreneur overnight. I mean, Amazon and all these brands, and they've been around 20, 30 years. It takes growth, it takes time.”

    The owner of B. Simone Beauty adds, “Becoming a new entrepreneur is not easy, but I think it's just about taking those first steps. Start with the name, come up with an idea, and then go ahead and put your energy into putting it out. A lot of answers will be answered when you start. You're not going to have everything figured out in the beginning.”

  3. Nicole Walters- (Owner of A Multi-Million Dollar Marketing Empire And The Star Of “She’s The Boss”)

    For those with questions amplifying their brand, Nicole Walters reveals: “Marketing is critically important. You can build a business all day, but if people can’t find you, they can’t pay you. You have to tell them where you are so they can know where to deposit those funds.”

    The CEO of Inherit Learning Company and the star of She’s The Boss continues, “Be bold. If you’re not invited to a seat at the table, break down the wood and build your own. And wherever you go, leave the door for the women to enter behind you. There’s room for all of us. We each have our individual gifts that will contribute to the greater mission. So be encouraged to have a very full table and not worry that we don’t have enough settings.”

    For those who want to know how to interact with their customers, Latrice Rogers reminds: “It's all about good customer service, Honey! Allow your customers to advertise for you with pride! How? Stalk their pages just as they stalk yours. Comment and engage on photos when they are wearing your product. In turn, you will have free advertisers for life!”

    The CEO of Goddess Lengths and Esensual Beauty continues, “Also, give up the old to welcome the new. People always advise to ‘never give up’ - I disagree to an extent. If you find a method of business is not prevailing, switch it up and make it bigger, broader, and better. Never sweat the small stuff, but do not let it consume you either. Let go of old methods and educate yourself so that you can polish things up periodically and stay ahead of the game. That's how you will remain #1!"
