Watch Out! These Glammas Are Taking Over

We stand Glammas because, let’s be honest, they are the OG baddies. Check out some of the flyest glam-mas to ever grace our presence.

Mothers get all the praise, but what about the grandmas? After all, they are known for having the best recipes and the greatest wisdom--which bails us out of trouble when we act a fool. Most importantly, grandmothers raised the mothers and fathers that raised us. A mother’s love is unmatched, but behind every loving mother is a grandmother who showed her what love is. Grandmas are out here too, and they’re reclaiming the word “grandma.” That’s right! Grandmas now want to be called “glam-ma” because, let’s be honest, they are the OG baddies. Here is a listicle of the flyest glam-mas to ever grace our presence.

While appearing on Live With Kelly And Mark, Vanessa spoke about the joys of being a glam-ma. She shared, “I just can’t stop singing for some reason; as soon as I see him, I burst into song.” Since the birth of her first grandchild, she’s been balancing the role of superstar and grandparent. She also revealed in the interview, “I’m babysitting this afternoon; as soon as I finish this, I take off my ponytail and put on my jeans.”

Simone and LL Cool J’s oldest daughter Italia Smith share two children with her husband. The joy continues; Italia announced that she is pregnant with her third child on Mother’s Day via Instagram. The post featured Italia wearing a hot pink outfit and embracing her baby bump. The proud glam-ma commented on the pregnancy announcement, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mommy’s Girl.”
