Cardi B’s NSFW Rant Against Trump Was So Good, Senators Debated Retweeting The Video
Cardi B may not have any formal experience in politics, but her recent viral rant against Trump's government shutdown was so spot on, several Senators even debated retweeting the profanity-filled video.
"I just want to remind y'all, because it's been a little over three weeks…Trump is ordering as in summoning federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid," she said in the video.
"Now, I don't want to hear y'all m*****f*****s talk about 'Obama shut down the government for seventeen days...Yeah ... for health care! So your grandma could check her blood pressure."
"Our country is in a hellhole right now, all for a f*****g wall ... I feel like we need to take some action," she said.
The video immediately began trending on Twitter
Cardi's honest point of view was so refreshing, some are ready to let her run the country
Connecticut senator Chris Murphy said he was thinking about retweeting the video, and Hawaii senator Brian Schatz was like, “same”
Even Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer got in on the action.
The conversation between the Senators became a hilarious idea for some who mistakenly thought they were referring to Cardi's new "Twerk" video with City Girls
