Drake Drops New Music Prior to Views From the 6 Release
Drake may not be ready for us to see all of his Views From the 6, but the Toronto star has no problem giving us teasers while we wait. If you're tired of hearing him beg Rih to stop working, you now have two new songs to add to your playlist.
Today, the rapper dropped two new tracks: "Controlla" featuring reggae artist Popcaan and "These Days." It's not clear if the songs are on Views or not, but we're definitely ready for this album to come out. "Controlla" is yet another chapter in Drizzy's dancehall journey (read: rekindling with Rihanna) while the folk ballad "These Days" is a semi-cover of the 1967 hit written by Jackson Browne and performed by Nico.
Both songs are a long way from his recent teasers like "Back to Back" and "Summer Sixteen." However, we're ready to see what heartbreaking ballads or turnt twerk vibes Drizzy is bringing us very soon. OVO stars have been making huge headlines lately, so let the takeover commence.
