White Anchors Get Dragged For Calling Black Teen Who Got Accepted To 20 Top Colleges 'Obnoxious'

"You owe Michael Brown an apology for this despicable mischaracterization."

Two white anchors on Fox 5 DC are getting heavily criticized for calling the Black teen who got accepted and offered full rides to 20 colleges "obnoxious." 

A video of Michael Brown, 17, of Houston, getting accepted to Stanford University went viral after it was revealed that he was offered full-ride scholarships to all 20 of the colleges he applied to, including Harvard and Yale. 

Brown, who is Black , currently has a 4.68 GPA and a SAT score of 1540 out of 1600.

  • While most people celebrated Brown, the anchors of Fox 5 DC called his decision to apply to 20 schools "obnoxious"

    In their discussion, the anchors said Brown did not need to apply to so many schools and take spots away from other students who deserved them.
