With recent, and better, news of Kanye West’s hospitalization finally coming to a close, the ceaseless “sources” close to Ye and the family who have kept fans updated may now begin to reveal themselves.

According to The Sun, the first to do so is Yeezy’s stepbrother, Hal Carmichael. 

Carmichael, who is kin to the G.O.O.D. Music superior through his mother Cheryl’s marriage to Yeezy’s father, said that the Paris robbery shattered the West-Kardashian couple’s peace of mind.

“Ye is tired, he’s hurt, he feels betrayed and he’s probably feeling depressed,” Carmichael said in an exclusive statement to the site. “It’s like who can he trust? You can’t trust anyone, even the people you’ve been paying to protect you. They haven’t been doing their jobs correctly.”

Carmichael explained that, since the robbery, Yeezy has constantly walked around looking over his shoulder and “fearing for his life and his family’s safety.” He also admitted that when the family found out that he was being transported to the hospital, it came as a surprise to all of them, even though Carmichael knew the reason behind the emergency visit.

“Since he started out in the business, he has never taken a break or stopped working. He’s lost it right now because he’s only human.”

Yeezy has reportedly since been released from the UCLA Medical Center after nine days of being held at the facility. He is now under the care of his wife, Kim Kardashian-West, and personal physician Dr. Michael Farzam.

Family, friends and fans are wishing now for a speedy recovery for Mr. West.
