These actresses kept viewers laughing all year along.

The 53rd Annual NAACP Image Awards hosted by award-winning actor Anthony Anderson are just around the corner. It’s slated to be a night filled dedicated to honoring some of the most talented stars in Hollywood for their outstanding performances across several categories, including film, television theater, music, and literature.

At this year’s ceremony, we’ll honor some of the funniest women in television, including actress and director Issa Rae, veteran actress Loretta Devine, Regina Hall, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Yvonne Orji. However, before we find out who will take home the honor, here a five of the funniest moments from this year’s nominees.

  • Issa Rae - Insecure

The are many reasons fans have gravitated to Issa Rae’s critically acclaimed hit series Insecure. From being relatable to representation, the multi-talented star tends to the viewer’s every need, creating memorable moments that still have us laughing well after all five seasons.

One of those moments occurred during the pilot episode in which she diagnosed her best friend Molly with “broken p-ssy” after failed attempts at romantic relationships.

  • Loretta Devine- Family Reunion

Veteran actress Loretta Devine is M'Dear, is a deep Southern old-fashioned church-going mother of Anthony Albi’s character Moz McKellan. M’Dear is the comedic relief we need in the family-friendly series. It follows a family of six who travels from Seattle, Washington to Columbus, Georgia, for the McKellan Family Reunion and decides to stay closer to their family.

  • Regina Hall - Black Monday

Veteran actress Regina Hall is the irreverently hilarious Dawn Towner, the only female head trader on Wall Street and one of the few female traders period at the time on Showtime’s dark comedy series Black Monday follows the drama behind the infamous stock market crash of 1987.

Dawn is highly educated, highly determined, and can certainly hold her own in a male-dominated and often toxic environment.

  • Tracee Ellis Ross— Black-ish

Tracee Ellis Ross as Bow Johnson is a genius and perfectly imperfect TV wife and working mom television needed. Having already won our hearts with her most iconic role on the hit series Girlfriend, Ross made fans fall for her all over again with her role as fictional mother of five.

  • Yvonne Orji — Insecure

Although her character Molly isn’t the first character from the critically acclaimed series you’d expect to get a good laugh from, however, the lawyer best friend of Issa Dee had several solid funny moments throughout the show’s 5 season run.
