Snoop Dogg: Uber Eats Driver Threatens Lawsuit

The driver claims Snoop revealed his name and photograph and now he suffers from anxiety.

Snoop Dogg could face a lawsuit from an Uber delivery man after the artist took to social media to air out his grievances when the driver failed to deliver a meal to the industrial area of Inglewood, Calif.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the delivery driver plans to file a lawsuit against the now-Death Row label owner.

“It’s my picture there and also there is my first name,” the driver said. “After I saw the video, I’m kind of like, I have high anxiety and I fear for my family’s safety. I contacted the customer many times and I followed the protocol by the book.”

The incident occurred on January 27, when Tha Dogfather posted a video on Instagram, complaining that the driver sent a message that he didn’t want to deliver the food because “this isn’t a safe place.”

In typical fashion, Snoop took to social media, condemning the driver, writing, “M****rf****r from f****n’ Uber Eats didn’t bring my f****n’ food,” Snoop can be heard saying. “Talking about he arrived. ‘This is not a safe place.’ Punk m****rf****r—where my food at n***a? You got all my goddamn money, punk.

The driver said he had no idea that the order was for Snoop Dogg on January 27.

CBS Los Angeles reports that Uber issued the following statement:

“We truly regret Snoop Dogg’s frustrating experience. We have reached to apologize and refunded him for the order.”

The Uber driver feels as though the apology should be issued to him and that the company did nothing to protect him in the matter.

“When I read that, I just felt like it’s not fair because I am the one that deserves an apology from Uber Eats, not Snoop. But I have to fight for my rights and family’s rights. I just feel like I’m not treated well from this celebrity or Uber Eats,” he told the news outlet.
