Randy Moss Triumphs Over Cancer With Bell-Ringing Ceremony
Randy Moss has officially completed his cancer treatment, marking the milestone by ringing the bell in celebration.
In an Instagram post, Atrium Health showed the 48-year-old all smiles, ringing the bell to confirm he’s completed his cancer treatment.
“We join NFL Hall of Famer @randygmoss in celebrating a major milestone and ringing the bell, marking the completion of his cancer treatment at Atrium Health Levine Cancer in Charlotte,” the company captioned.
“Throughout a journey filled with challenges, Randy met each moment with the same grit and determination that defined his legendary career. “
The former wide receiver thanked the hospital for “welcoming” him to “be a part of their family.”
“Thank you, Randy, for trusting us with your care. Your strength inspires us all,” the health company added in closing.
The NFL legend recently returned to his seat for “Sunday NFL Countdown” giving audiences his analysis on the games, BET reported.
“Randy’s return on Super Bowl Sunday was an emotional lift , not just for our team but for the entire football community and knowing he will resume his full Sunday NFL Countdown schedule, beginning in Week 1, has been the highlight of the offseason,” ESPN said in a statement.
In December 2024, Moss was diagnosed with cancer and shared on an episode of the sports talk show how he and his wife were “battling something internally.”
“I just wanted to share something with you all. And I put a post up maybe a few minutes ago on Instagram, just telling people. You were talking about my eyes last week,” he said.
“I just want to let the viewers know that me, my wife and my family are battling something internally.”
