It's not often that GQ magazine features a rapper on the cover, even more rare that an MC has been asked to grace the cover more than once (only Will Smith and Jay-Z so far). However, it seems the editors at Gentleman's Quarterly have an affinity for a certain clean cut Canadian rapper, as they've awarded him their front cover twice since his sophomore album, Take Care, was released last year. That's right, Drake scored another GQ front page and serves as the face of this year's Style Bible. 

In the cover story, GQ gets at the heart and head of Drake, touring his home and highlighting his personal style. 

"The fire starts to die out, Sixteen Candles comes to an end, and I ask if I can see his closet — after all, he designed his own $5,000 arctic-fox-fur, gold-hardware bomber jacket," Claire Hoffman writes for GQ. "We wander into the house, a woody manor. Drake enters some numbers into a keypad on a bookshelf and — presto! — it swings open into his massive, paisley-swathed sleeping chamber, complete with a California king bed, for which he must purchase custom sheets."

Settling into his mansion, Drake dishes about his relationship with his father, the new generation of rappers and slowing down on sleeping with a lot of women. 

“There’s just a time where it was like, just getting p****," said Drake. "Where I was in that sort of ‘I’m young, I’m going to disconnect from my emotions and just do what everyone else tells me I should do and just a be a rapper and have my fun.’ And for me as a person, it just doesn’t work. The seconds after a man reaches climax, that’s the realest moment of your life. If I don’t want you next to me in that fifteen, twenty seconds, then there’s something wrong.”

Drizzy goes on to share how fame has become a creative block for him when it comes to songwriting. 

“I’m trying to find the same feelings that I had for women when I had very little going on, which is tough. When I was in my mom’s house, I had nowhere to go, no real obligations. My girlfriend at the time, if she was mad at me, my day was all f*****-up. I didn’t have anything else. And that made for some of the best music, I think, to date. Records where I felt small. …It’s really difficult for me to find something that makes me feel small.”
