People Are Disgusted After Donald Trump Jr. Likes A Tweet Accusing A High School Shooting Survivor Of FBI Conspiracy

Donald Trump Jr. and other members of the GOP are under fire after suggesting survivors of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have ulterior motives in creating a coalition to stop gun violence.
On Tuesday, Don Jr. appeared to agree with a conspiracy theory that accuses a teenage shooting survivor of actually taking part in an FBI plot to cover up their mishandling of information regarding suspect Nikolas Cruz.
First, conservative talk show host Graham Ledger tweeted a link to a Gateway Pundit article which accused survivor David Hogg, whose father is a retired FBI agent, of running a cover for the agency
Then, “Trump Alert," a Twitter bot, revealed Don Jr. liked the tweet sent by Ledger
When it was documented that the younger Trump approved of a smear campaign against a survivor of a national tragedy, Donald was quickly called out

He was then criticized for his lack of empathy and self-serving attacks
Don Jr. is not alone as other GOP members have accused the survivors of conspiracy
Benjamin Kelly, a former aide to GOP Florida Rep. Shawn Harrison, sent an email to a reporter which accused two survivors of being actors

Harrison then announced he fired his aide for the comments
