You'll Never Guess Where Cardi B Found Out She Was Nominated For 5 Grammys
Bronx baddie Cardi B has had another incredible year in music. Despite her hostile war with Nicki Minaj and publicly heartbreaking split from husband Offset, the "Bodak Yellow" phenom is ending 2018 on a high.
This morning (Dec. 7), while in arraignment for her August assault charges, Bardi was shocked to find out she was nominated for five Grammys: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Album plus the highly sought after categories of Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
She took to Instagram saying, "what a way to find out I got 5 grammy nominations"
In spite of the rough week she's had, the "I Like It" rapper stated, "I'm telling you my life is a movie. I work my ass off. Win or not, at least I know I had a chance..." On Twitter, she penned, "This is not how I expected to find out I’m nominated for a Grammy. I need a do over."
