Jacqueline Jackson Encourages People To Get Vaccinated After Bout With COVID-19
Jacqueline Jackson is encouraging the public to get the COVID-19 vaccine after her own serious bout with the disease.
According to her and husband Jesse Jackson’s son Jonathan Jackson, she is continuing to recover at home.
“I am happy to share the good news with you, that my mother, Mrs. Jacqueline Jackson, is continuing to recover at home – a survivor of COVID – and a true proponent now of everyone getting vaccinated,” said Jonathan in a statement, according to CBS Chicago.
On August 21, the husband and wife of 60 years were admitted to the hospital for COVID-19. The pair stayed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Rev. Jackson, who experienced less severe symptoms from the disease, was vaccinated prior to becoming infected while Mrs. Jackson was not.
