Terry Crews Scored A Huge Victory Against His Assaulter

He was groped by Hollywood super agent Adam Venit.

Terry Crews’ sexual assault case will proceed.

According to Deadline, the lawsuit the actor filed against WME agent Adam Venit has been sent to the Los Angeles District Attorney.

“A case was presented to our office on February 6 by the Los Angeles Police Department involving Adam Venit and is under review,” L.A. County D.A. spokesman Ricardo Santiago said.

Crews’ claims of sexual assault are reportedly being investigated for possible criminal charges. The other option for this stage in court proceedings would’ve been that his case was thrown out.

In October 2017, Crews first revealed an evening in 2016 when Venit groped his genitals. The agent was subsequently put on a month-long suspension, which Terry didn’t believe was long enough.

A month after he reported the incident to the L.A. Police Department, Terry Crews took legal action against Venit, seeking monetary and punitive damages for assault, battery, sexual harassment, sexual battery, gender violence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Crews left WME management last November.
