Royce Da 5'9 Brings Out Special Guests at S.O.B.'s \r \r

Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monche and Jean Grae make an appearance at a Royce show in New York City.

As a member of both Slaughterhouse and Bad Meets Evil, two reputable hip hop groups, right now Royce Da 5'9 has had the best set up of his career for the release of his current solo album, Success Is Certain. The Detroit rapper celebrated the August 9 release of the album at New York City's S.O.B.'s club, headlining a show with the support of a few special guests.

With the legendary DJ Premier handling the wheels of steel for this event, Royce brought out a few friends to help rock the standing crowd. After performing a few solo songs off his album, including new cuts like "Legendary" and "Where My Money At?," Royce was joined by Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden for a Slaughterhouse reunion (Royce shouted out Crooked I, who's back injury prevented him from flying in). Later in the evening, Talib Kweli took the stage to perform "Get By" and Pharoahe Monche and Jean Grae followed with their own brief set (Pharoahe got the crowd hype with "Simon Says").

Though Eminem was not in the house, Royce also performed a number of cuts from his Bad Meets Evil EP, including "Fast Lane."
