White Woman Who Got Three Years In Prison For Using Racist Language Showed Up To Court With Cornrows

"She should get an extra 2 years for cultural appropriation (without compensation)."

After a white South African woman was sentenced to three years in prison for using a racist word against a black police officer nearly 50 times, she showed to court in cornrows.

In November, Vicki Momberg was found guilty on four counts of crimen injuria, or the willful injuring of someone's dignity, reported CNN.

Momberg, a former estate agent, was caught on a viral video verbally abusing Black South African Police Service officers who tried to help her after someone broke into her car. She repeatedly used the word “kaffir,” which is South Africa’s equivalent to the word “n—r.”

On Wednesday, Momberg showed up to Randburg Magistrates Court to appeal her sentence, and people could not help but notice her new hairdo.

  • Momberg's cornrows quickly became the star of the "Today In White Foolishness" Show

  • Some believed the convicted racist should get extra time for her hair

  • Momberg was dragged for taking a hairstyle from a race of people she attacked
