According to bookseller Barnes & Noble, Obama’s memoir Becoming is officially the fastest-selling book of 2018. The book, which chronicles Michelle’s childhood in Chicago to her time in the White House, has sold more copies in its first week than any other work released in 2018.

Becoming also marked the most first-week sales for an adult book in more than three years.

“We knew Becoming was going to be one of the biggest books of the year, but it has now officially had the best first week of sales of any book in 2018, and is among the fastest sellers in Barnes & Noble history,” Liz Harwell, senior director of merchandising and trade books at Barnes & Noble said in a statement. “This is definitely the must-have book of the holiday season.”

The news comes after conservative commentator Tami, uh, Tomi Lauren, oops, Lahren had some harsh criticism for Michelle, including her assertion that she should “sit down.”
