Viral Video Catches White Lady Stalking And Calling Cops On Black Man For Babysitting White Kids

Corey Lewis said the woman followed him for an hour while he had the children in his care.

It really seems that no matter what Black people do in their life, there will always be a white person who finds their existence suspect enough to phone the police. This was made most evident when a white Georgia woman was caught on Facebook Live calling the police on a Black man because he was babysitting two white children.

Corey Lewis told CBS46 he first encountered the unidentified woman when she stopped him in the parking lot of a Cobb county Walmart and asked him if the children were OK. When he said they were fine the woman left then quickly came back and asked if she could speak with the kids.

Lewis denied her request, probably because he was the one in charge of their safety, and then the woman called the police.

Before the police arrived, the woman followed him in her car.

“We then left to go get gas, she moved closer and waited there,” said Lewis.

Lewis said the woman followed him all the way to his home, where he was met by a Cobb County police officer.

The officer questioned the 10-year-old and the 6-year-old before calling their parents, David Parker and Dana Mango.

“I said are you saying that because there’s an African American male driving my two white kids, that he was stopped and pulled over and questioned and he said I’m sorry ma’am that’s exactly what I’m saying,” Mango told CBS46.

Parker and Mango have known Lewis for a while and arranged for him to babysit the children weeks ago.  Their son attends his youth mentor program called ‘Inspired by Lewis’.

The parents could not believe Lewis was stalked, harassed and questioned by police.

“B-W-B which I guess is the new thing, babysitting while black,” said Parker.

Parker and Mango said they don’t believe that the woman was trying to protect their children because they never showed any signs of being in danger.

The woman has still not been identified.
