If Wale called to congratulate Kendrick Lamar on his 11 Grammy nominations this morning, he probably didn’t answer. Not because he’s too busy, according to the D.C. rapper, King Kunta hasn’t picked up his calls since becoming a Grammy-nominated rap star, several times over.

Today, Wale tweeted to a fan that the Compton native "hasn't answered the phone since his last nomination." The topic came up while he was responding to being snubbed by the Grammys.

He also threw shade at the Record Academy (or maybe himself), sarcastically tweeting, "cuz Wale sucks," when a fan asked why The Album About Nothing wasn't nominated. 

As far as the phone goes, K Dot isn’t alone in dodging Mr. Folarin, Meek Mill doesn’t answer his calls either.
