50 Cent is known for trolling and bringing the laughs on social media. The rapper's latest Instagram posts chiming in on Terry Crews' decision to come foward as a sexual assault victim has sparked an intense debate online.
Fif posted a series of memes practically mocking Crews' decision not to violently strike WME agent Adam Venit after he reportedly groped Crews' genitals.
Russell Simmons, who is close friends with Crews' accuser and even asked the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor to give Venit a "pass," joined in on 50's jokes dropping a laughing emoji in one of the post's comments.
This isn't 50 Cent's first time getting caught up in drama because of his social media posts. Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Teairra Mari filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent for reposting nude images of her leaked by her ex-boyfriend.
The commentary from 50 Cent and Russell Simmons left Twitter in a frenzy. Check out what commenters had to say below:
shit like this is the reason men don’t come forward as victims of sexual assault often. 50 Cent is publicly mocking Terry Crews, allowing Russell Simmons (friends with Crews’ abuser who tried to get him to drop the charges) to openly laugh at him. pic.twitter.com/J16TUvDUYi— wesley (@wslymcln) June 26, 2018
So Terry Crews had the guts to speak out about assault and 50 cent thinks it's funny. This is why men bottle up their hurt— Plain Jane (@jane_gana) June 26, 2018
50 Cent and Creepy “Uncle Rush” laughing at Terry Crews getting sexually assaulted is disgusting. The comment section is a cesspool, mostly “he must have liked it.” victim blaming. There is a Crisis in Masculinity Part 2,507. pic.twitter.com/7cDsy1YLdG— BrianRinaldi (@BrianRinaldi) June 26, 2018
The reaction to Terry Crews and people laughing along with 50 Cent is alarming, this includes people like @UncleRush. There are countless Black Men and Boys who have been violated sexually who don't tell you their stories because of reactions like these. Likely people you know.— Richie Brave 🇬🇾🇲🇲🇮🇳 (@RichieBrave) June 26, 2018
Speaking of folks being loud&wrong then swooping into serious convos, are the same males who deflect discussions on female sexual assault via “men too” going to call out 50 Cent for mocking Terry Crews? pic.twitter.com/jQsERfXlgJ— Lemonism 🍋 (@LemonClarkMedia) June 26, 2018
50 cent cancelled. Russell Simmons cancelled. Look at how they're ridiculing Terry Crews' experience. Makes me wonder how they belittle the experiences of women survivors or the women in their lives. Women that may have been victims by them. Its all really ugly.— THEakasha (@_THEakasha) June 26, 2018
50 Cent is on instagram mocking Terry Crews for being a sexual assault victim. Fuck HIM and every nigga who liked those photos FOREVER. y’all are disgusting. Fuck.— sama kasu ataya ☕️ (@mycupofti) June 26, 2018
50 Cent mocking Terry Crews for not knocking his assaulter out is pretty true to form for him.— woah, dude (@SLYDAHMER) June 26, 2018
If Terry hit that guy, he’d forever be another “violent black man” & he’d more than likely go to prison because the man he’d have attacked, was a big executive. That’s a terrible idea
50 Cent is garbage for mocking Terry Crews for being a victim of sexual assault and then doubling down on it. Russell Simmons is also trash for mocking Crews as well. Male victims of sexual assault should not be subjected to shame and ridicule for having the courage to speak out.— 💅🏾 (@MJFinesseLoverr) June 26, 2018
Russell Simmons got some nerve commenting on that post 50 Cent made about Terry Crews pic.twitter.com/IMsDRX1Acu— Black Marlins Man 🔊 (@ampaveli) June 26, 2018
