Terry Crews Got A Letter From The Man Who Groped Him And Posted It Online For Everyone To See

Well, this is a surprising twist.

Some progress has been made in Terry Crews' lawsuit against Adam Venit, the man who sexually groped him at a Hollywood function years ago.

Recently taking to Twitter, the actor posted a screenshot of the apology letter the assaulter sent him detailing his regret for his actions.

At the very height of the #MeToo movement, further proving that men are also at the receiving end of sexual assault in the workplace, Terry Crews came forward with his story. He explained in a series of tweets that he was dealing with post-traumatic stress following the assault where Venit inappropriately groped him in front of his wife and others.

Taking to Twitter on Friday morning, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star shared with his followers the apology he received from Venit which dated back to March 2018.

He stressed, though, that he is only now accepting it as Venit has resigned from his position at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC (WME).

"I know that you didn't ask for any of this... I take responsibility for us being here now, together in this situation. I am sorry for all of it," Venit wrote in the letter. "I even hope that someday we can come together and go forward with compassion and understanding and be an amazing force for positivity and change in our culture."
