Last week, news that the mother-of-four died unexpectedly at age of 47, shocking the internet to the core—especially Diddy, the father of her twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila, 11; and son Christian, 20. As well as her oldest son, Quincy, 27, from a previous relationship with Al B. Sure.
Before Diddy arrived, TMZ obtained a photo from inside the funeral showing Kim's golden casket's topped and surrounded by beautiful bouquets of flowers. A large black and white photo of Kim could also be seen near the stage.
The funeral scheduled for 11 AM ET will have both the Combs and Porter families along with an estimated 1,200 to 1,500 mourners attending.
The music mogul recently posted a heartfelt message to his longtime friend and mother to his children.
A day after Thanksgiving, the Porter, Goodwin and Combs families issued a statement honoring her life to The Associated Press making it clear, “although we’ve lost our best friend, God has gained a special angel and we know she is watching over us.”
The statement continued, “God broke the mold when he made Kim, there was truly no other woman like her. Although her time here on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of purpose and meaning. She was a loving mother and devoted friend. She was the epitome of kindness and grace. There wasn’t a person she met who’s soul she did not touch. Kim was the type of woman who changed lives for the better.”
Adding, “She will be forever remembered and missed by so many. As her family, we promise to honor her every day of our lives. We love you always.”
