So far, 2016 has delivered some major heat in the music department from the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna and more, and if Future's words hold any truth, the summer may continue that trend. The MC revealed on Twitter that a record from Jay Z may be around the corner and hip hop heads are going insane.

In just a few tweets, Future let the world know the Roc Nation head honcho plans to dominate the summer.

This news come off the heels of DJ Khaled hinting at a collaboration between Jigga and Future and while he's been pretty hush hush about the situation since then, he's spoken out about how the news broke during an interview with Hot 97.

"The thing is, I didn't expect the news to get out," he said. " Honestly, on my mother. It's crazy because today is the day I announced the label deal. For that to come out, I woke up this morning shocked. I almost stressed out, sweating like, 'What the...' But you know what? It's a blessing. Stay tuned!"

Get your Tidal subscriptions ready, because, like his record-breaking wife, you just never know when Hov's about to strike.
