Kid Cudi Posts Heartfelt Thank You to Kanye West, Pharrell and More

"I look forward to better days."

Published November 22, 2016

Things definitely seem to be looking up for Kid Cudi following his self-admission into mental rehabilitation in October and he’s paying respect to everyone who helped him pull through.

Despite the few bones picked with Drake and Lupe Fiasco during his time in rehabilitation, Cudi seems to have still had a very strong team of supporters rooting him on in his time of need. On the “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper’s Facebook, he posted a message on Monday (Nov. 21) expressing his gratitude to several industry mates, label mates, family, friends and fans who supported him through his personal mental health battle.

Travis Scott, Kanye West (who is currently facing his own challenges), Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky, Willow and Jaden Smith, Monica, Raury, JoJo, Bow Wow, the Hot 97 radio team and Jussie Smollett were among the names Cudi expressed deep gratitude toward for “opening their hearts” to him during such a tough time.

“I wanted to let y’all know it meant the world to me. I have nothing but love for you,” he said in the post. “Words can't really express how much it made my heart glow. I look forward to better days. Feeling great and brand new.”

He also warns those who were named and unnamed in his letter to be ready for a “big hug” when he sees them, probably like that of the embrace he shared with Yeezy on stage during the Sacramento Saint Pablo Tour pit stop. The two performed a few hits from Ye’s highly-reviewed The Life of Pablo album before stopping to give each other a public display of brotherly love.

Read the gratuitous “Thank You” letter and witness what's in store for everyone who was promised a Kid Cudi hug below.
