DJ Khaled Names a Very Unlikely Person as the Executive Producer of His New Album

Taking baby steps with this one.

DJ Khaled has been the golden key unlocking many industry doors for quite a while now.

And now that his first release of 2017 is under heavy construction, he’s passing a smaller set of keys to his adorable mini-me, Asahd Khaled.

Naming his 3-month old son the executive producer of his upcoming album, Khaled posted a photo of him and young Asahd during a very important business meeting — right on the sofa.

“Having a chairman executive meeting with Asahd, going over my new album,” the Major Key creator wrote. “Going over what vocals came in and vocals that we’re waiting on, as well as the timeline for all the anthems to be mixed and mastered, as well as album art and timeline to release the title of the album.”

In the photo, Khaled is relaxed on a one-seater as he studies his iPad as Asahd sits comfortably between two pillows on the other seat. But this is just the third photo op of Khaled teasing at the project. Scroll further down his timeline and you’ll find his boss status studio session with Chance the Rapper, where he reveals that the two are cooking up something special for fans — on the undercover tip, of course. And of those vocals pending for him and baby Asahd, we may find Mariah Carey among them, as he also posted flicks of him and the R&B diva in the studio with Travis Scott last week.

Welp, here’s one 3-month-old with a lot on his little hands.
