Rihanna Posted the Funniest Reaction to the Warriors' Finals Win

The end to the nerve-wracking, nail-biting, seat edge-sitting NBA Finals Game 5 on Monday night (June 12) proved Golden State Warriors victorious atop a 129-120 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

And while Roc Nation’s bad gal Rihanna, an honorary courtside fan, is still riding heavy for the LeBron James-led Cavs amid their defeat, her latest Instagram post proves she’s still no sore loser. Just a hilariously devastated one.

Recreating The Lion King’s pivotal scene of King Mufasa’s death in the clip, the "Anti" songstress cast some new faces for the 1994 classic Disney film. Fittingly Photoshopping King James onto King Mufasa, Kevin Durant of Golden State onto Mufasa’s green-eyed, murderous brother, Scar, and her own onto Mufasa’s young son, Simba, the devastation of the scene hilariously channels RiRi’s mood after Cleveland’s loss.

In the meme-fashion snippet, we see Scar toss Mufasa into a stampede of wildebeest after sneering one of the movie’s most memorable and noteworthy lines: “Long live the king.” A young Simba then bellows out a loud “Nooooo!” as she witnesses King James’s defeat.

RiRi reinforced the hilarious sentiments in her caption, too, handing off some jokingly fighting words to her bestie, Melissa Forde, who is apparently a Warriors girl. Even Rihanna, a die-hard Cavs fan, had to give it up for her brother in Roc Nation Sports, too.

“#LongLiveTheKing, #KingisStillKingB**ch, (whispers congrats to KD, cause....ROCNation),” she wrote. “BUT: me and [Melissa Forde] beefing all summer!”

See how the bad gal’s taking the Cleveland L after last night’s game below.
