On Friday (December 8), the internet’s virility hit a heartbreakingly low point when Kimberly Jones posted a video of her young son, Keaton Jones, tearfully recollecting his day-to-day suffering at school at the hands of bullies. Keaton asks, “just out of curiosity, why do they bully?” at the beginning of the video, before his mother encourages him to speak through his experiences by way of a few questions. Struggling through emotion, Keaton expresses that the bullies at school consistently taunt him, poking fun at his physical appearance. Perhaps the most shocking point of the video is when his mother asks him what happened at lunch, to which he replies that they poured milk on him and put ham down his clothes.

The video circulated heavily on social media in the following days, reaching all the way up to Hollywood. Now that some of music’s most prominent voices of reason such as T.I., Snoop Dogg, Cardi B and Rihanna are reaching a loving hand out for him, music stars are sending a collective middle finger for those perpetrating young Keaton’s mistreatment: #F**kBullying.
