Yikes: K. Michelle Had Some Harsh Words About Nicki Minaj And That Meek Mill Incident...

"She telling people to come take my Dreamchasers chain..."

The hatchet between R&B songstress K. Michelle and femcee icon Nicki Minaj unfortunately may never bury itself following K’s song-swiping allegations against her in 2017.

The way K remembered it, one of The Pinkprint album standouts, “Buy a Heart,” with Nicki’s then-boyfriend and Philly emcee, Meek Mill, was actually supposed to be her song. K claimed that Nicki snatched the song right from beneath her with the Meek feature close behind—all under the pretense that Meek and K were doing a little more than just collaborating. Fast-forward to four years later, and the Rebellious Soul singer isn’t holding onto any more grudges from the whole Pinkprint situation. But that doesn’t mean she’s crossing back over Nicki’s pink bridge that burned down back then, which may never rebuild itself, according to her sentiments on Raq Rants

  • After the show’s host, Raquel Harper, asked K about putting money on Meek’s books during his 2014 jail stint…

She said that she didn’t and hadn’t even gone to visit him, presumably because of some bad blood still brewing with him over the situation. K explained that initially, the Dreamchasers leader only played her the record for an opinion. He opted not to keep the song, she elaborated, so it was passed along to her. “Why do me like that, and you in jail?” she said.

  • K then segued into Nicki’s role in the shady situation…

She first identifies her as “a girl” who came in making demands against her. “A girl came in, she telling people to come take my Dreamchasers chain and everything—[and] I wasn’t even wearing it,” she said. Harper, who connected K’s indirect mention back to Nicki, inquired on whether the Young Money femcee was ever successful in getting that chain back. “Hell nah, b**ch!” K replied. “You gonna run through here…”

While K let it all roll off her shoulders, she still won’t be bumping elbows with Nicki anytime soon, she confirmed.

  • As for Meek…

She said that she did wish the best for him, especially considering that they were good friends at one point. “I always thought you were extremely talented,” she said of the Championships emcee. “And they need you out here in the streets helping the kids. We don’t need you back in jail. So, stay on your sh**.”
