Black Twitter Ruthlessly Drags Lil Pump After He Supported Donald Trump By Attending A Rally

The Miami-born rapper was welcomed by the president at his final rally for the 2020 presidential election, but hip hop fans were not as kind.

Lil Pump has been catching heat from all corners of social media after he came forward as a Donald Trump supporter days before the big presidential election.

  • The president welcomed the Miami-born rapper at his final rally for the 2020 presidential election in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday (Nov. 3). Trump invited the “Gucci Gang” rapper on stage in front of a cheering crowd, calling him “one of the big superstars of the world.”

Despite being such an “icon,” the POTUS mistakenly identified his celebrity supporter as “Lil Pimp” when he first introduced him.

“Speaking of sound, music and other things, one of the big superstars of the world, Lil Pimp,” Trump said before correcting himself. “There he is. How’s it going? You want to come up and say something? Come on, Lil Pump, come on up here.”

  • Pump didn’t have much to say when he took the podium.

“I come here to say, Mr. President, I appreciate everything you have done for our country,” the 20-year-old proclaimed while wearing a MAGA hat. “You brought the troops home and you’re doing the right thing. MAGA 2020. Don’t forget that! And do not vote for Sleepy Joe at all!”

This comes after Pump, a rapper who appeared on a hit song “Be Like Me” that featured another Trumper, Lil Wayne, gave a raving endorsement of 45, advocating for another term in office on Monday (Nov. 2) via Instagram. He also posted in his Instagram Story that he is leaving the U.S. and moving to Colombia if Trump loses the presidential election.

  • The rapper’s endorsement spurred a chain reaction across social media in response. “Lil Pump on stage.. with Trump? This year is getting stranger by the second,” one person tweeted out. Others swiftly pulled up a 2016 tweet from the rapper that was a stark contrast to his current stance towards Trump. Bella Hadid took to her Instagram Story to call out Pump’s actions, writing, “This is so irresponsible. This kid is a loser.”

  • Lil Pump is the latest rapper to voice their support for the president in the 2020 presidential election. Other members from the hip hop community are Lil Wayne, Ice Cube, and 50 Cent. Though, the latter walked back his support after facing backlash.
