The stakes are high between Drake versus Meek Mill. Right now, Drizzy has the upper hand with two diss tracks directed toward Meek. But can we look forward to a third one?
This morning, the 6 God dropped “Back to Back,” a scathing three-minute track that puts Meek on blast. He touches on why Meek hasn’t responded yet, the ghostwriting allegations and his spot on Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint Tour. “You love her then you gotta get a world tour / Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour? / I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more.”
After "Charged Up," Meek hasn't exactly replied in the way that we want him to. There wasn't a diss track debut on Funkmaster Flex or even a short rant about Drake when he performed in Toronto last night for Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint Tour. Regardless, the hype just grew with a tweet from OVO’s iLoveMakonnen.
In his tweet, he teased that maybe there’s a third diss track on the way, writing, “3 in a row tonight. Back to back to back now.” Uh oh.
But he could be referring to his rigorous schedule on the Loudest of the Loud Tour. Through July 27 to July 29, he’s stopped in Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB, and Winnipeg, MB. Whatever the case may be, we'll be at the edge of our seats.
