James Harden Signed With Adidas, but Still Rocking Jordans

Rockets All-Star inked $200 million deal after Nike didn't renew contract.

James Harden threw sneaker heads for a loop last month, jumping ship from Nike to Adidas via a 13-year, $200 million deal when the Swoosh wouldn't extend his contract.

Still, Harden can't let go of his Js. The Houston Rockets' All-Star shooting guard was photographed by TMZ Sports in Calabasas, California, over the weekend, rocking a pair of Jordans while walking with his reported girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian.

While TMZ pointed out that Kardashian was wearing Adidas sweats, Harden proudly strutted in his Jordans.

The celebrity news website did state that Harden's deal with Adidas doesn't officially kick in until October 1, signaling that he could have what's remaining of this month to continue wearing his Js.

After that, though, it might be time for the Beard to lay the Jumpman to rest. Although athletes of the past have been able to wear sneakers from a different brand off the court.

Still, let's consider this your grace period, James. Adidas is counting on Harden to help with its resurgence in the hoops market after signature shoes from Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard and John Wall failed to bubble.
