In Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Golden State warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-114 in overtime. However, the only thing anyone can talk about is the epic blunder made by JR Smith in the final seconds of regulation time.

When there was only 4.7 seconds left on the lock, both teams were tied at 107 and George Hill missed a free throw. Smith got the rebound, but opted to dribble the ball out to to the perimeter instead of making a game winning put back.

During this time, LeBron James was frantically pointing toward the basket.

Smith passed the ball and time ran out.

After the play, it appeared that Smith was telling James, "I thought we were up."

  1. After the game, Smith explained his actions and claimed he knew they were tied
