See How Meagan Good Uplifted Leslie Jones With A Moving, Body-Posi Message

We needed this BGM moment today!

Meagan Good is truly a pure soul.

When former BET Awards host Leslie Jones took to the gram today to air out her frustrations regarding her figure, her dating prospects, and her general life (relatable! we know the swift trajectory of a spiral all too well), Meagan, a kind human and perennial hottie, jumped in the comments section with some words...of positivity, that is.

Unenthusiastic #FitFam member (also relatable!) Leslie posted a classique gym selfie with the following caption: "Ok back to cardio. But confession I feel like I'm doing it for nothing. I know I'm not healthy and look good but I really feel like, 'What's it all for?' if the people you want to notice you don't. I just feel like I might die alone. Sorry that's pretty heavy today!!"

Wow, yes, we've got a lot of emotions going on here — but that's what makes Leslie disclosure all the more powerful. Like, who among us has not felt the frustrations she described? Couldn't be us! The degree of Leslie's success, and subsequent persistence of such qualms, makes her admission all the more real, and furthermore, important.

In today's visually driven, break-neck speed world, it's easy to assume that people with success "have it all" — after all, if that's all you're seeing represented on their socials, it's natural to come to that conclusion. But people are much less likely to reveal the gritty details of their self-perceived shortcomings. This especially relates to celebrities, whose shiny, happy feeds are #ForTheAesthetic and carefully curated. But let's face it — people's inner monologues are quite the opposite of curated, and in clueing her fans in to this reality, Leslie is exhibiting signs that she's a real-life human being.

Even so, Meagan Good, angel on earth, swooped in in the clutch with some uplifting words.

"The right people will notice...you are a 'Gift' and God doesn't give His precious gifts away to everyone," she wrote. "He's selective...he gives you to someone who He can trust. You're doing it for something...you're preparing for something (career, relationship, purpose, etc). Making it so your body will continue to take you wherever God wants you to go. He has a plan and He WILL give you the desires of your heart at the perfect time, with the right people/person. Be encouraged, sis, you are one of a kind — and you are so dope. Lol God ain't giving you away to anybody. You too bomb for that."

Wow...somehow that post cleansed our aura and lowered our blood pressure? We're not saying we're going to print it out and recite it every night before bed and multiple times on Valentine's Day...but we're not not going to do that.
