WanMor became the first artists signed to Mary J. Blige's Beautiful Life Productions—a 300 Entertainment company. The musical icon opened up about initially hearing the boys perform, stating, “When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT!”
They were on reality television
In 2019, WanMor was among 30 families competing for $250,000 and a recording contract on Nickelodeon’s music reality competition series America’s Most Musical Family. They also reportedly appeared on season 14 of America’s Got Talent but didn’t make it past the initial audition round.
They’ve worked with several prominent artists
Aside from being signed to Mary J Blige’s label imprint, Beautiful Life Productions (along with 300 Entertainment), WanMor has also worked with rapper Lil Uzi Vert. The Philly rapper contacted the group to provide background vocals for his critically acclaimed album Eternal Atake.

WanMor has earned a spot on music radars and award shows in a short time. The boys have received their first major award nomination at the BET Awards 2023 for “Best New Artist.”
Their name is a tribute to their legendary father
Big Boy, Chulo, Tyvas, and Rocco’s group name is a tribute to their dad Wanya Morris. The Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter is best known as the founding member of Boyz II Men.
However, each member’s name is also Wanya. According to their official website. Wanya II is nicknamed “Big Boy,” Wanya III is called “Chulo,” Wanya IV is nicknamed “Tyvas,” and Wanya V is “Rocco.”
