Here's What Jemele Hill Has To Say About ESPN Condemning Her Trump 'White Supremacist' Tweets

"So, to address the elephant in the room..."

What a whirlwind of a Wednesday for Jemele Hill. Many people took to Twitter yesterday to blast ESPN for trying to silence the SportsCenter co-host for calling President Trump a "white supremacist," while others implored "The Worldwide Leader in Sports" to fire her. And the debate only intensified when White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that Hill calling Trump a "white supremacist" should be a "fireable offense by ESPN."

But you couldn't tell that Hill was in the midst of a firestorm by watching her on SportsCenter at 6 p.m. EDT, when she slid into her regular seat and proceeded to do her thing alongside Michael Smith as she does every day, Monday through Friday.

The show came and went without Hill addressing the controversy swirling around her. But that would change last night, when Hill took to her same Twitter account from which she blasted Trump on Monday "to address the elephant in the room."

This comes in response to ESPN's public relations team's statement Tuesday condemning Hill's series of tweets blasting Trump.

We're proud of Jemele expressing her "personal beliefs" and standing by them, even if she regrets how the public way she made them "painted ESPN in an unfair light."

Jemele Hill has always been woke AF out here.
