Sha'Carri Richardson Wins 200 At New York Grand Prix

She also placed second in the 100 meters at the inaugural race.

Sha’Carri Richardson won big in her third meet this year.

According to Dallas News, at the inaugural New York Grand Prix on Sunday (June 12) , the 22-year-old finished second in the 100 meters and won the 200. It was her third meet this year and she was victorious with a time of 22.38 seconds.

Richardson also wore a Nike tracksuit with fishnets casing her arms and legs, she told NBC, “I really just wanted people to know that you can be yourself. That means you wanna be sexy, you wanna be cute, you wanna express yourself in ways that nobody has before? Don’t let that stop you.”

On June 23, Richardson is scheduled to compete at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Last year, Sha’Carri Richardson finished first in the 100-meter at the Eugene, Oregon Olympic qualifiers, but was then suspended from participating in the Tokyo Olympics after testing positive for marijuana.
